Message From the Dean.
Welcome to the College of Engineering Web site!
As you tour the Web site, you’ll get a good sampling of what the College has to offer, not only the engineering degrees and the fields of concentration that are available to you, but also the outstanding faculty and facilities to make your learning experience memorable and productive.
Computer science and engineering, construction engineering technology, electrical engineering, electronics engineering technology, engineering technology, information technology, manufacturing engineering technology, materials science and engineering, mechanical and energy engineering, and mechanical engineering technology – these degree programs prepare you to compete in today’s global market.
A course of study in engineering will equip you with life-long learning skills and provide you research opportunities in emerging technologies, nanoscience and microscience technology, and computer science and technology.
I am looking forward to developing new departments and programs; supporting the existing ones; growing our research and graduate programs; and continuing our service to our students, the state of Texas, and the Nation. The College of Engineering at UNT’s Discovery Park is growing at a rapid pace, and I am excited about the opportunity to help lead it forward.
