We are proud to welcome B. Gentry Lee as the keynote speaker at the Texas BEST 2009 evening ceremony at the UNT Coliseum. He will talk about the importance of science and engineering to the successful planning and execution of the robotic planetary missions undertaken by NASA. He will address the following questions: Extraterrestrials, in fact, and fiction - are we alone in the universe? Could there be life on Mars - past, present or future? What will the history of the 21st century look like? B. Gentry Lee is Chief Engineer for the Planetary Flight Systems Directorate at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He is also an active science fiction novelist, television producer, computer game designer, media columnist, and lecturer. more
